Author "Edward F. Foulks is an American psychiatrist recognized for his work on cultural aspects of mental health. He has a particular focus on the mental health of Native American communities. Foulks was a professor of Psychiatry and Neurology at Tulane University in New Orleans. His research and clinical work often centered on the importance of cultural factors in mental health, including how cultural understanding can improve the delivery of mental health services to diverse populations. One of his most recognized works is "Mental Health and Mental Illness: Policies, Programs and Services", which provides an overview of the mental health system in the United States. Foulks' work contributes significantly to our understanding of cultural factors in mental health and mental health care."
