Cloth front and back covers are protected by a pasted down transparent, plastic sheet; the exposed edges that are not protected by this sheet are lightly dust soiled though the cloth is clean otherwise and free of fraying; corners are free of bumps; binding is tight and square; 8 pages of the first 29 have the neatest, ruler-made underlinings in pencil which we are going to leave; page 67/68 have a small, closed tear (like a large nick) to open edge; previous owner's very small neat name plate on upper open corner of ffep; otherwise the pages are clean, crisp, bright and free of marks, creases and highlights; edges are clean; a gently-loved copy. .
