A lovely edition in a very handsome gilt pictorial binding comprising an outdoor scene in which a young girl, in an oratorical or recitative pose, stands atop a lute, which is, in turn, laid atop a large, open book. The girls is observed by four young women several of whom appear to be weeping. Quite lovely if sad! English women poets.
