Profusely illustrated throughout with plates, photographic reproductions, facsimiles and drawings, many in color. Three small worm holes, approx. 1/6th to 1/8th cm in diameter, to leather of Vol 3 and ten of the same to Vol 4.; worming gently affects hinges of these two volumes in parts, but overal the bindings of all four volumes are quite tight. It appears that someone may have applied glue to interior hinges, but these 'flaws' and their 'repairs' are somewhat minor considering the Very Good+ general condition of the set. Worming does did not affect text block of any volume. All in all, a very nice set of a scarce and important work. . Hardcover.
