Opus of a forgotten pioneer of American spoken word, wandering bard-performance artist and supporter of Black Americans. Exemplar 382 of a stated limitation of 400 copies. Signed by Lindsay. Despondent over poor health and financial struggles, Linsday killed himself at the age of 52, in 1931, by drinking Lysol. A progenitor of modern American "singing poetry".
