Good(+) to very good copy cloth is lightly rubbed and frayed at the spine ends, open corners and rubbed at spots along the edges; 1" circular light white discoloration to rear cloth; cloth and boards cracked at ends of spine joints but are not anywhere being loose; paper at frong hinges are cracked, not loose; book is slightly leaning; top edge of leaves is moderately soiled and stained; inscription neatly written in pencil on ffep; "First Edition" written in pencil to upper edge of front paste-down page; small 1/2" stain to ffep as well as in the same spot on opposite front paste-down; o/w cloth is still very handsome and pages are clean, bright and free of marks and creases; .
