The totem poles of the Pacific northwest coast - Washington, B.C. and Alaska. ¶  "Edward L. Keithahn was an American anthropologist, historian, and museum curator. He was born in 1900 and died in 1970. He is best known for his work on Alaskan native cultures, particularly the Tlingit and Eskimo peoples. He served as the curator of the Alaska Historical Museum and wrote several books on Alaskan history and culture. Keithahn's work was instrumental in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Alaska's indigenous peoples. His books, such as "Monuments in Cedar" which focuses on totem poles of the Tlingit and Haida people, are still considered valuable resources for understanding these cultures." ¶ Indians of North America -- Northwest, Pacific.
