Printed facsimile of a hand-written and hand-illustrated manuscript. Difficult to determine if this copy is the original 1916 printing or a later one. I suspect that, if it is not the 1916 edition, then it is still an early one. Later printings, which I have seen, possess brighter sheen to their gilt titles and a smoother bindings. This copy appears accurate to the period in terms of the binding's look and feel.
